अंगिरा उवाच । भोभोस्तस्कर मे वाक्यं शृणुष्वावहितः क्षणात् । आत्मनस्तु हितार्थाय सत्यं चैव वदाम्यहम् । तव कः पोष्यवर्गोऽस्ति तच्च सर्वं वदस्व मे
aṃgirā uvāca | bhobhostaskara me vākyaṃ śṛṇuṣvāvahitaḥ kṣaṇāt | ātmanastu hitārthāya satyaṃ caiva vadāmyaham | tava kaḥ poṣyavargo'sti tacca sarvaṃ vadasva me
قال أنْغيرا: «يا أيها اللص، اسمع كلامي بإصغاء لحظة. لخيرك أنت أقول الحق. أخبرني: من الذين يعولون عليك في القوت؟ اذكرهم جميعًا لي».
