Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra (Devikā-māhātmya context)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A śrāddha setting near the Prabhāsa coast: a brāhmaṇa officiant seated on kuśa grass, vessels of ghee, curd, and milk arranged; the yajamāna recites mantras while attendants prepare side-dishes; distant temple silhouette and sea-horizon.
Ritual purity is strengthened by mantra: offerings become spiritually potent when consecrated with appropriate Vedic formulas.
The broader setting is Devikā-taṭa/Bhūdhara in Prabhāsakṣetra, where such offerings are prescribed.
Consecrate ghee, curd, milk, and accompanying foods with their respective mantras (including “tejo ’si śukram” for ghee and “dadhikrāvan(a)” for curd).
