Narrator (within the Śiva–Pārvatī dialogue context of this section)
Tirtha: Nandāditya
Type: tirtha
Scene: A pilgrim beholds Nandāditya—radiant Sūrya presence—then offers a tawny cow in dāna to a Veda-versed brāhmaṇa at the tīrtha, with the promise of no return to mortal birth.
Darśana of the deity at a powerful tīrtha, joined with righteous charity, is presented as a path toward liberation from repeated mortality.
Nandāditya in Prabhāsa-kṣetra.
Kapilā-dāna—donating a tawny cow to a Veda-learned Brāhmaṇa at that place.
