यम उवाच । अकाले नात्र चायाति कश्चिद्ब्राह्मणसत्तम । मुहूर्तमपि नो जीवेत्पूर्णकालेन वै भुवि
yama uvāca | akāle nātra cāyāti kaścidbrāhmaṇasattama | muhūrtamapi no jīvetpūrṇakālena vai bhuvi
قال يَمَا: «يا خيرَ البراهمة، لا يأتي أحدٌ إلى هنا قبل أوانه. حقًّا، على الأرض لا يعيش كائنٌ حيٌّ حتى مُهُورتا واحدة بعد أن يكتمل الأجل المعيَّن له.»
