एकैकं वर्तते नाम ब्रह्मणः प्रलयावधि । ततोन्यज्जायते नाम यथा नामानुरूपतः

ekaikaṃ vartate nāma brahmaṇaḥ pralayāvadhi | tatonyajjāyate nāma yathā nāmānurūpataḥ

كلُّ اسمٍ على حدةٍ يدوم إلى نهاية عصرٍ من عصور براهما، حتى الانحلال (البرالايا)؛ ثم ينشأ اسمٌ آخر، وفقًا لما يقتضيه ذلك الاسم من معنى وخصيصة.
