lakṣmīrvasati puṣpeṣu lakṣmīrvasati puṣkare | lakṣmīrvasatu vāse me saumanasyaṃ dadātu me
Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) narrating to the sages (deduced)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa-kṣetra (phala extending to gṛha-śrī)
Type: kshetra
Scene: A serene household shrine: lotus and flowers offered; Lakṣmī seated on a lotus, gentle rain of blossoms; the devotee prays for prosperity and calm-heartedness.
Prosperity is invoked as sacred presence: true Lakṣmī includes inner well-being (saumanasya), not merely wealth.
Within Prabhāsakṣetra’s Māhātmya, the śrāddha context extends into blessings for household auspiciousness.
A concluding benediction-prayer to Lakṣmī is recited/caused to be recited after the rite.
