अथ श्राद्धावसाने तु आशिषस्तत्र दापयेत् । दीर्घा नागास्तथा नद्यो विष्णोस्त्रीणि पदानि च । एवमेषां प्रमाणेन दीर्घमायुरवाप्नुयाम्

ثم عند ختام الشرادها، يُستحسن أن تُتلى هناك البركات: «ليكن (عمري) طويلاً كالناغات العظام، وكالأنهار، وكخطوات ڤِشنو الثلاث.» وبهذه المقاييس من التشبيه المبارك، عسى أن أنال طول العمر.
