Śiva (Īśvara)
Tirtha: Prabhāsa at Sarasvatī–abdhisaṅgama
Type: sangam
Listener: Bhāminī (female interlocutor addressed)
Scene: At a coastal confluence, a householder performs śrāddha on darbha grass: piṇḍas arranged, tila-water offered toward the sea; the river’s subtle stream meets waves; attendants prepare brāhmaṇa seating; the addressed ‘bhāminī’ stands nearby as listener.
Place and procedure together sanctify action: Śrāddha done at a praised tīrtha with correct vidhi carries heightened merit.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra, specifically the Sarasvatī–ocean confluence (sarasvaty-abdhi-saṅgama).
Perform Śrāddha at the saṅgama strictly according to the stated procedure (vidhāna).
