स्नानं दानं जपस्तत्र सर्वं कोटिगुणं भवेत्
snānaṃ dānaṃ japastatra sarvaṃ koṭiguṇaṃ bhavet
هناك، الاغتسالُ المقدّسُ والصدقةُ وتلاوةُ الجَپَا—كلُّ ذلك يتضاعفُ أجرُهُ كُوṭيًّا (عشرةَ ملايينِ مرّة).
Īśvara (Śiva)
Tirtha: Trisaṅgama (Miśra-tīrtha)
Type: sangam
Listener: Mahādevī
Scene: Pilgrims at the confluence performing three acts in one frame: bathing at the waterline, giving alms to a brāhmaṇa/poor person, and seated japa with rosary; above them a luminous ‘koṭi’ aura or radiating mandala indicating multiplication of merit.
Right action (snāna, dāna, japa) gains extraordinary potency when performed in a highly sanctified tīrtha.
The Prabhāsa-kṣetra tīrtha under discussion—Trisaṅgama/Miśratīrtha.
Perform snāna (bath), dāna (charity), and japa (mantra-recitation) at the tīrtha for greatly multiplied merit.
