बिंबेनांतरितो देवि आदित्यग्रहणं हि तत् । न कश्चिद्ग्रसितुं शक्त आदित्यो दहति ध्रुवम्
biṃbenāṃtarito devi ādityagrahaṇaṃ hi tat | na kaścidgrasituṃ śakta ādityo dahati dhruvam
يا إلهة، إذا حُجبَت الشمس بقرصٍ يتوسّط بينها وبين الناظر فذلك يُسمّى «كسوفًا شمسيًّا». ولكن لا أحد يقدر أن يبتلع الشمس حقًّا، فإنّ آديتيا يحرق يقينًا كلَّ معارضة.
