Scene: At the north-west corner of the sacred pond stands Hiraṇyeśvara: a radiant golden-hued liṅga or Śiva presence, with devotees offering water and bilva leaves after completing snāna at Brahmakuṇḍa.
Pilgrimage is completed by upāsanā: the tīrtha’s geography culminates in direct worship of the residing form of Śiva.
The north-west corner of the Brahmakuṇḍa/Prabhāsa sacred zone, where Hiraṇyeśvara is said to be self-abiding.
Ārādhanā (worship) of Mahādeva Hiraṇyeśvara is prescribed.
