Śiva (addressing Devī/Pārvatī)
Tirtha: Bhānu/Sūrya-māhātmya within Prabhāsa-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Devī; secondarily all future hearers/readers
Scene: Bhānu (Sūrya) enthroned in radiance, being praised by Śiva (Hara), Brahmā (lotus-seated), and Viṣṇu; below, a listener hears the māhātmya; at the end of life, a subtle soul-figure ascends toward Divākara-loka.
Śravaṇa of māhātmya is itself a dharmic act; attentive listening to sacred praise is credited with elevating the soul’s final destination.
Prabhāsa-kṣetra as a Sūrya-associated sacred landscape, summarized through a phalaśruti on hearing its account.
Śravaṇa—listening to (or recitation of) the described māhātmya; its stated fruit is reaching Divākara-loka at life’s end.
