एवं संपूजितस्तेन भक्त्या परमया नृप । सुखोपविष्टो विश्रांतो वसिष्ठो मुनिसत्तमः । राजर्षीणां कथाश्चक्रे देवर्षीणां तथैव च
evaṃ saṃpūjitastena bhaktyā paramayā nṛpa | sukhopaviṣṭo viśrāṃto vasiṣṭho munisattamaḥ | rājarṣīṇāṃ kathāścakre devarṣīṇāṃ tathaiva ca
وهكذا، أيها الملك، لما أُكرم بأسمى البهكتي، جلس فاسيشثا—خيرَ المونيات—جلسةً هانئة، ثم بعد أن استراح أخذ يروي أخبار الرَّاجَرِشيّين، وكذلك أخبار الدِّيفَرِشيّين.
