ṛṣiyogena yastatra tarpayedbrāhmaṇottamān | brahmaloke ciraṃ vāsastasya saṃjāyate nṛpa
Pulastya (contextual narrator to the king)
Tirtha: Mārkaṇḍeya-āśrama-tīrtha (Arbuda)
Type: kshetra
Listener: King (nṛpa)
Scene: At the Arbuda āśrama, a devotee offers water/refreshment and respectful gifts to venerable brāhmaṇas seated on kuśa mats; above, a symbolic glimpse of Brahmaloka—lotus-like radiance—suggests the promised destination.
Serving and honoring worthy brāhmaṇas in a dharmic manner at a tīrtha leads to exalted spiritual realms.
The same sacred locale at Arbuda associated with the āśrama/tīrtha described in Adhyāya 41.
Perform tarpaṇa/acts of satisfaction and honoring toward brāhmaṇa-uttamas according to rṣi-vidhi (ṛṣi-yoga).
