तेन शक्रादयो देवा जिताः संख्ये सहस्रशः । भयात्तस्य दिवं हित्वा गतास्ते वै यथादिशम्
tena śakrādayo devā jitāḥ saṃkhye sahasraśaḥ | bhayāttasya divaṃ hitvā gatāste vai yathādiśam
وبهزيمته هُزم شَكْرَةُ (إندرا) وسائرُ الآلهة في المعركة مرةً بعد مرة، آلافَ المرات. ومن شدة الخوف منه تركوا السماء وفرّوا إلى أيِّ جهةٍ استطاعوا.
