चंद्र उवाच । चंद्रग्रहे नरो योऽत्र सोमवारे च शंकर । भक्त्या स्नानं करोत्येव स यातु परमां गतिम्
caṃdra uvāca | caṃdragrahe naro yo'tra somavāre ca śaṃkara | bhaktyā snānaṃ karotyeva sa yātu paramāṃ gatim
قال تشاندرا: «يا شانكرا، من اغتسل هنا بتعبّدٍ يوم الاثنين، ولا سيما وقت خسوف القمر، فليبلغ المقام الأعلى (الموكشا/التحرّر).»
