gautama uvāca | sevā kṛtā tvayā vatsa mahatī mama sarvadā | tenaiva paripūrṇatvaṃ jātaṃ me nātra saṃśayaḥ
Gautama
Scene: Gautama, serene and affectionate, blesses Uttaṅka, indicating that his lifelong service is sufficient; Uttaṅka stands humbled, receiving the guru’s prasāda.
Sincere service itself becomes the highest offering; a true guru values devotion over material gain.
No specific tīrtha is named; the verse teaches dharma within the Arbuda-khaṇḍa storyline.
None; the emphasis is ethical—service and satisfaction (santoṣa) rather than ritual.
