चितिं कृत्वा समं तेन ज्वालयामास पावकम् । अथ ते मुनयो दृष्ट्वा तथाशीलां शुभांगनाम्

citiṃ kṛtvā samaṃ tena jvālayāmāsa pāvakam | atha te munayo dṛṣṭvā tathāśīlāṃ śubhāṃganām

أقامت محرقةً مساويةً لمحرقة زوجها وأضرمت فيها النار. ثم إن أولئك الحكماء، إذ رأوا تلك المرأة الفاضلة ذات الطالع المبارك والثبات في السلوك، نظروا إليها بقلق.
