Narrator (contextual; likely Sūta continuing the Māhātmya narration)
Tirtha: Rudraśīrṣa (liṅga-tīrtha)
Type: kshetra
Listener: Dvija-uttamāḥ
Scene: A devotee—whether ordinary man or brāhmaṇa—recites once before the liṅga; the scene subtly opens into a vision of ‘paramā gati’: serene light, upward path, or Śiva’s tranquil grace.
Even minimal sincere devotion—reciting once—can become a liberating act when performed at a sanctified presence.
The Rudraśīrṣa-liṅga locale where the recitation is performed ‘before it’ (tatpuraḥ).
Recite/read the Rudraśīrṣa before the deity—even a single recitation is praised.
