स्नेहक्षयश्च दीपेषु विवाहे च करग्रहः । वृत्तभंगस्तथा गद्ये दानोत्थितिर्गजानने
snehakṣayaśca dīpeṣu vivāhe ca karagrahaḥ | vṛttabhaṃgastathā gadye dānotthitirgajānane
وكان ‘نقص الزيت’ لا يكون إلا في السُّرُج؛ و‘أخذ اليد’ لا يكون إلا في الزواج؛ و‘انكسار الوزن’ لا يكون إلا في النثر؛ و‘القيام بسبب العطايا’ لا يكون إلا في شأن غانيشا، الربّ ذي وجه الفيل.
