ye tu saṃsmṛtya manujāḥ kapālaṃ mama saddvija | tatra śrāddhaṃ kariṣyaṃti te narā muktisaṃyutāḥ | śrāddhapakṣe viśeṣeṇa prayāsyaṃti parāṃgatim
وأما الذين من الناس إذا تذكّروا جمجمتي، يا أيها البرهمن الصالح، وأقاموا هناك شعيرة الشرادها (śrāddha)، فإن أولئك يُمنحون الموكشا، التحرّر. ولا سيما في موسم الشرادها، بيتري-باكشا (Pitṛ-pakṣa)، يبلغون المقام الأسمى.
