चातुर्मास्येऽव्रती यस्तु तस्य पुण्यं निरर्थकम् । सर्वतीर्थानि दानानि पुण्यान्यायतनानि च
cāturmāsye'vratī yastu tasya puṇyaṃ nirarthakam | sarvatīrthāni dānāni puṇyānyāyatanāni ca
أما من لا يلتزم بنذرٍ في زمن تشاتورماسيا، فإن ثوابه يصير بلا ثمرة؛ إذ إن مكاسب جميع التيـرثا، والصدقات، وسائر مواطن البرّ تغدو غير نافعة له ما لم تكن تلك الرياضة والانضباط.
