Transliteration

te mathyamānāstvaritā devāḥ svātmārthasādhakāḥ | abhilāṣaparāḥ sarve na śrṛṇvaṃti yato jaḍāḥ

غير أنّ أولئك الآلهة أسرعوا في الخضّ، لا يبتغون إلا منفعة أنفسهم؛ وقد ساقهم الهوى جميعًا، فلم يُصغوا، إذ كانت عقولهم مُبلَّدة.
