क्षीराब्धेर्मथ्यमानस्य पर्वतो हि रसातलम् । गतः स तत्क्षणादेव कूर्मो भूत्वा रमापतिः । उद्धृतस्तत्क्षणादेव तदद्भुतमिवाभवत्
kṣīrābdhermathyamānasya parvato hi rasātalam | gataḥ sa tatkṣaṇādeva kūrmo bhūtvā ramāpatiḥ | uddhṛtastatkṣaṇādeva tadadbhutamivābhavat
ولمّا كان محيطُ اللبن يُخَضّ، غاص الجبلُ سريعاً إلى رَساطَلا. وفي تلك اللحظة بعينها تحوّل ربُّ راما إلى كُورما، السلحفاة، فرفعه حالاً؛ فكان أمراً عجيباً حقّاً.
