दाक्षायण्या कृतं यच्च न दृष्टं किं त्वयानघ । त्वं चापि यज्ञे दक्षस्य अवदानार्थमागतः । अवदानं प्रयच्छामि तव चापि महाभूज
dākṣāyaṇyā kṛtaṃ yacca na dṛṣṭaṃ kiṃ tvayānagha | tvaṃ cāpi yajñe dakṣasya avadānārthamāgataḥ | avadānaṃ prayacchāmi tava cāpi mahābhūja
يا من لا إثمَ عليه، أما رأيتَ ما فعلته دَكْشايَني (ساتي)؟ وأنتَ أيضًا قد جئتَ إلى يَجْنَةِ دَكْشا تطلب نصيبَك المقرر. سأمنحك نصيبَك كذلك، يا عظيمَ الساعدَين.
