Transliteration

anūcānaguṇopeto yajñasvādhyāyayaṃtritaḥ | bhrūṇa ityucyate śiṣṭaiḥ śeṣabhojī jiteṃdriyaḥ

Translation

من اتصف بفضائل التعلّم المنضبط، وضبطته الذبيحة (يَجْنَة) وتلاوة الفيدا ودراستها (سفادهيایا)، ولم يأكل إلا ما بقي بعد القرابين، وكان غالبًا لحواسه—يسمّيه العلماء «بْهْرُونا»، براهمنًا مهذّبًا مكتمل التكوين.
