śallakīdhūpamaṃtraḥ | tataḥ pāyasādiniṣpannaṃ naivedyaṃ nivedayedanena maṃtreṇa | naivedyamamṛtaṃ sarvabhūtānāṃ prāṇavardhanam | pūrṇapātre mayā dattaṃ pratigṛhṇa prasīda me
Lomaharṣaṇa (Sūta) to the sages (deduced)
Scene: A full bowl of pāyasa is lifted toward the deity; beside it, śallakī incense smolders. The mantra declares the offering ‘amṛta’ that increases prāṇa for all beings.
Offerings are transformed into amṛta through devotion; the worshipper seeks divine pleasure (prasāda) through sincere giving.
No tīrtha is named; the focus is the naivedya upacāra within Sūrya-pūjā.
After incense (including śallakī-dhūpa), offer naivedya such as pāyasa in a full vessel, reciting a mantra that asks the deity to accept and grant grace.
