एतेन श्रुतिशास्त्राणि पुराणं च वृतैव किम् । अग्रे सप्तर्षिपूर्वा ये ब्राह्मणाः क्षत्रिया भवन्
etena śrutiśāstrāṇi purāṇaṃ ca vṛtaiva kim | agre saptarṣipūrvā ye brāhmaṇāḥ kṣatriyā bhavan
فإن كان الأمر كذلك، فما الحاجة إلى الفيدا والكتب الشاسترية وحتى البورانا؟ في الأزمنة الأولى، إن البراهمة الذين تقدّمهم السبع رِشيّات صاروا كشتريا من جهة الوظيفة والقيام بالواجب.
