सुहृद्वत्प्रतिबोध्यैनं प्रवर्तयति तत्त्वतः । काव्यालापादिकं यच्च कांतासंमतमुच्यते

Transliteration

suhṛdvatpratibodhyainaṃ pravartayati tattvataḥ | kāvyālāpādikaṃ yacca kāṃtāsaṃmatamucyate

Translation

ينبغي أن يُعلَّم كتعليم الصديق الناصح (su-hṛt)، وأن يُساق إلى طريق الحقيقة على وجهها. وكل ما كان من حديثٍ شعريٍّ وأمثاله—إذا أقرّته المحبوبة (kāntā)، أي ذات النبل والبصيرة—فهو كلامٌ مقبول.
