इति जपः गोमेदनामा प्लक्षोस्ति सुरम्यो यस्य च्छायया । मोदोवृद्धिं गतं लौल्याद्गोमेदं द्वीपमुच्यते
iti japaḥ gomedanāmā plakṣosti suramyo yasya cchāyayā | modovṛddhiṃ gataṃ laulyādgomedaṃ dvīpamucyate
«هكذا يكون الجَپَة (ترديد المانترا).» هناك شجرة پلاكشا بهيّة تُدعى «غوميدا»؛ وبظلّها يزداد السرور من فرط الأُنس—ولذلك سُمّيت تلك الجزيرة «غوميدا-دڤيپا».
