शब्दं गृह्णास्यश्रवास्त्वं हि जिघ्रेरघ्राणस्त्वं व्यंघ्रिरायासि दूरात् । व्यक्षः पश्येस्त्वं रसज्ञोप्यजिह्वः कस्त्वां सम्यग्वेत्त्यतस्त्वां प्रपद्ये
śabdaṃ gṛhṇāsyaśravāstvaṃ hi jighreraghrāṇastvaṃ vyaṃghrirāyāsi dūrāt | vyakṣaḥ paśyestvaṃ rasajñopyajihvaḥ kastvāṃ samyagvettyatastvāṃ prapadye
مع أنك بلا أذنٍ تدرك الصوت، وبلا أنفٍ تشمّ الرائحة، وبلا قدمٍ تأتي من بعيد. وبلا عينٍ تبصر، وبلا لسانٍ تعرف الطعم. فمن ذا الذي يحيط بحقيقتك؟ لذلك ألجأ إليك وأعتصم بك.
