prāpto yuddhāya dvādaśyāṃ yāvatkṛṣṇāṃ caturdaśīm | aṣṭādaśadine rāmo rāvaṇaṃ dvairathe'vadhīt

دخل القتال من اليوم الثاني عشر حتى اليوم الرابع عشر من النصف المظلم. وفي اليوم الثامن عشر قتل راما رافانا في مبارزةٍ على العربات.
