Transliteration

caitraśuklāṣṭamīṃ yāvatsyaṃdanāśvādisūdanam | caitraśuklanavamyāṃ tu saumitreḥ śaktibhedane

Translation

حتى اليوم القمري الثامن من النصف المضيء لتشيترا كان تحطيم العربات والخيول وما شابه؛ وفي اليوم التاسع من تشيترا وقع طعن الرمح الذي أصاب ساوميتري (لاكشمانا).
