caitraśuklapratipadaḥ paṃcamīdinapaṃcake | rāvaṇo yudhyamāno 'bhūtpracuro rakṣasāṃ vadhaḥ

من اليوم القمري الأول من النصف المضيء لشهر تشيترا إلى مدة خمسة أيام تنتهي بالخامس، وبينما كان رافانا يواصل القتال، وقع قتل عظيم في صفوف الراكشاسا.
