śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca | durbhagā ravipatnī ca prabhānāmeti viśrutā | tayā cārādhitaḥ śambhurugreṇa tapasā purā
قال الشريف ماركاندييا: كانت هناك امرأة تُدعى برابها، زوجة رافي (الشمس)، مشهورة بأنها «منحوسة الحظ». وفي الأزمنة السالفة عبدت شَمبهو بتقشّف شديد.
