ब्रह्महत्यान्वितः कण्वो निस्तेजा व्यचरन्महीम् । व्यचरंश्चैव सम्प्राप्तो नर्मदामुरिसंगमे
brahmahatyānvitaḥ kaṇvo nistejā vyacaranmahīm | vyacaraṃścaiva samprāpto narmadāmurisaṃgame
وقد لحق بكانفا إثمُ قتلِ البراهمن (برهمَهَتيا)، فغدا خافتَ النور يطوف في الأرض؛ وفي تجواله بلغ نهرَ نَرْمَدَا عند أوريسَنْغَما.
