सोम उवाच । दक्षशापेन दग्धोऽहं क्षीणसत्त्वो महेश्वर । शापस्योपशमं देव कुरु शर्म मम प्रभो
soma uvāca | dakṣaśāpena dagdho'haṃ kṣīṇasattvo maheśvara | śāpasyopaśamaṃ deva kuru śarma mama prabho
قال سوما: «يا ماهيشڤارا، لقد أحرقتني لعنةُ داكشا ووهنت قوتي. يا إلهي، أطفئ اللعنة وامنحني السلامةَ والطمأنينة، يا ربّ».
