गतः पितामहं सोमो वेपमानोऽमृतांशुमान् । पद्मयोने नमस्तुभ्यं वेदगर्भ नमोऽस्तु ते । शरणं त्वां प्रसन्नोऽस्मि पाहि मां कमलासन
gataḥ pitāmahaṃ somo vepamāno'mṛtāṃśumān | padmayone namastubhyaṃ vedagarbha namo'stu te | śaraṇaṃ tvāṃ prasanno'smi pāhi māṃ kamalāsana
ومضى سوما، ذو الأشعة كالرحيق، مرتجفًا إلى الجدّ الأكبر برهما. «يا مولودَ اللوتس، لك السجود؛ يا حاضنَ الفيدا، لك السجود. إليك ألجأ؛ فكن راضيًا واحفظني، يا جالسَ اللوتس».
