रञ्जनाद्रञ्जना प्रोक्ता धात्वर्थे राजसत्तम । तृणवीरुधगुल्माद्यास्तिर्यञ्चः पक्षिणस्तथा । तानुद्भूतान्नयेत्स्वर्गं तेनोक्ता वायुवाहिनी

ومن «rañjana» أي الإبهـاج والتلوين، سُمّيت «رَنْجَنا Rañjanā» بحسب معنى الجذر، يا خير الملوك. فالأعشاب والمتسلقات والشجيرات وسائر الكائنات—وكذلك الدواب والطيور—إذا نشأت في مجالها حملتها إلى السماء؛ لذلك دُعيت «فايوفاهيني Vāyuvāhinī»، أي المحمولة بالريح / الحاملة بالريح.
