Transliteration

śrīmārkaṇḍeya uvāca | hanta te kathayiṣyāmi vicitraṃ yatpurātanam | vṛttaṃ svargasabhāmadhye ṛṣīṇāṃ bhāvitātmanām

قال الشريف ماركاندييا: «هلمّ، سأقصّ عليك خبراً عجيباً قديماً؛ حادثةً وقعت في قاعة مجمع السماء (سفَرغا)، بين الرِّشيّات ذوي النفوس المهذَّبة».
