tatphalaṃ samavāpnoti narmadācarite śubhe | kurukṣetre ca yatpuṇyaṃ prabhāse puṣkare tathā
Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) (deduced: Āvantya Khaṇḍa narrative style)
Tirtha: Narmadā (Revā) carita
Type: kshetra
Scene: A symbolic map-like montage: the Narmadā scroll unfurls, and within it appear vignettes of Kurukṣetra, Prabhāsa, and Puṣkara—showing that hearing the Narmadā-carita contains the merit of these pilgrimages.
Hearing the Narmadā’s sacred narrative is itself a powerful dharmic act yielding tirtha-equivalent merit.
The Narmadā (Revā) narrative is praised as equal in fruit to Kurukṣetra, Prabhāsa, and Puṣkara.
Śravaṇa (devotional listening) of the Narmadā-carita is presented as the merit-giving practice.
