Devotees/Sages (collective kṣamāprārthanā within Revā Khaṇḍa narrative)
Tirtha: Revā (Narmadā) tīrtha-circuit (contextual)
Type: river
Scene: Devotees confess having wandered onto a wrong road; the Lord as creator-sustainer extends a gesture of forgiveness while a symbolic lamp of viveka is lit in their hands.
Atonement is paired with responsibility: the devotee admits wrongdoing, seeks pardon, and prays for right discernment (viveka).
The Revā/Narmadā tīrtha milieu underlies the prayer, where purification and moral correction are central themes.
No specific rite is prescribed; the focus is inner correction—confession, forgiveness-seeking, and cultivation of viveka.
