Transliteration

tataḥ kālena mahatā bhṛguṇā paramarṣiṇā | cāturvidyapramāṇārthaṃ cakāra mahatīṃ sthitim

Translation

ثم بعد زمنٍ طويل، أقام الحكيمُ الأعلى بهṛغو (Bhṛgu) إجراءً جليلاً مهيبًا، قاصدًا أن يضع معيارَ الإثبات القائم على العلوم الأربعة.
