kāluṣyaṃ brahmasambhūtā saṃvatsarasamudbhavam | prakṣālayitumāyāti daśamyāmāśvinasya ca

وهي مولودة من براهما، تأتي في اليوم العاشر من شهر آشوينا لتغسل الدنس المتراكم على مدار السنة.
