प्राप्य चाश्वयुजे मासि कृष्णपक्षे चतुर्दशीम् । अहोरात्रोषितो भूत्वा पूजयित्वा महेश्वरम् । महापातकयुक्तोऽपि मुच्यते नात्र संशयः

إذا بلغ المرءُ في شهر آشوَيُوجا اليومَ الرابعَ عشرَ القمريّ (تشاتوردشي) من النصف المظلم، وأقام هناك نهارًا وليلةً كاملين، ثم عبدَ ماهايشڤارا، فإنّ حتى المثقلَ بالخطايا العظمى يُعتَق؛ لا ريب في ذلك.
