للبراهمةِ المشاركينَ في شرادها يُعطى زوجٌ من الثياب، ومعه مظلّةٌ ونِعالٌ وكَمَنْدَلو (إناءُ ماء)؛ وتُقدَّمُ عطايا متنوّعة (دكشِنا)، يا بهاراتا، استحضاراً للپِتْرِ (الأجداد).
