Sūta (Lomaharṣaṇa) narrating
Tirtha: Revā-kṣetra
Type: kshetra
Listener: Mahāmati (addressed as ‘O wise one’)
Scene: A calm encomium scene: the sages appear radiant, seated in meditation or teaching posture; subtle indications of disciples around them; the narrator’s voice ‘O wise one’ frames it as instruction.
Truthfulness and forbearance are the ornaments of spiritual authority; lineage is validated by virtue.
Implicitly the Revā/Narmadā region, as the narrative frames the sages’ sanctity within that sacred setting.
No explicit ritual; it describes the ethical qualifications of those fit to receive honor and offerings.
