सर्पा ऊचुः । यथा त्वं जननी देवि पन्नगानां मता भुवि । तथापि सा विशेषेण वञ्चितव्या न कर्हिचित्
sarpā ūcuḥ | yathā tvaṃ jananī devi pannagānāṃ matā bhuvi | tathāpi sā viśeṣeṇa vañcitavyā na karhicit
قالت الحيّات: «مع أنّكِ تُعَدّين في الأرض أمًّا لنا، أيتها الإلهة، فإنها مع ذلك لا ينبغي أن تُخدع قطّ، ولا سيّما في أيّ وقت.»
