Type: kshetra
Scene: A sweeping tableau of many orders of beings gathered or swept along together: austere brāhmaṇas and tapasvins with matted hair; shadowy yakṣas and rākṣasas; eerie piśācas; and shining vimānas overhead with celestial hosts.
The Purāṇas portray a vast moral-cosmic ecology where many classes of beings are affected together by cosmic transitions.
No specific pilgrimage site is named in this verse.
None; the verse catalogs beings rather than prescribing rites.
