Transliteration dēvī joṣṭrī vasūdhitī dēvám índram avardhatām | ayā́vy anyā́ghā́ dveṣā́ṃsy anyā́ vakṣad vásu vā́ryāṇi yájāmānāya śikṣité vasuváne vasudhḗyasya vītāṃ́ yája
Translation لتُقَوِّ الإلهتان—جوشْتْرِي (Jōṣṭrī) وزوجُ مُثَبِّتَةِ الثروة—الإلهَ إندرا. فلتطرد إحداهما الشرور، ولتحمل الأخرى البغضاء إلى هنا؛ ولتنقلْ هي الثرواتِ المختارة إلى اليَجَمانا (yajamāna) المُهَذَّب حقًّا في نيل الغنى. ولتأتيا إلى هنا لإرساء الكنـز؛ قَرِّبْ (yaj).
